2.1 VAT for admissions to our online training events

The place of supply for training events is where performed. Online courses directly booked with us are ordinarily performed from within our offices in the UK. Trade Faciliation Consulting Limited is a UK VAT registered company and UK VAT is due on any payment that give participants admission to training events, such as those bookable via our website.

Applicable UK VAT is itemised on our invoices. VAT Notice 723A, in particular Section 3.7, explains that businesses established outside the UK can claim refunds of UK VAT. Refunds are subject to an application using form VAT 65A. UK VAT arrangements for training events are explained in detail by HMRC in VAT Notice 741a (in particular Section 9).

UK VAT treatment for non-UK business customers (B2B) may differs where the supplied training services are not subject to admission, as might be the case for dedicated in-house training (please make enquires).

Trade Faciliation Consulting Limited does not provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy of the VAT information provided in this section.
