Trade Facilitation Consulting Ltd is frequently tasked with developing and delivering innovative training solutions. Our Director Prof. Dr. Andrew Grainger is an experienced educator. Recent portfolio highlights include:
Customs and BREXIT training for small businesses
In partnership with KGH Customs we have delivered more than 20 interactive one-day customs workshops across Ireland for small businesses. These training events are hosted by Ireland’s Local Enterprise Offices with the support of Enterprise Ireland. Participants are introduced to a wide range of practical customs issues, including those that arise within the context of BREXIT and the continued trade between Ireland and the United Kingdom.
The practical benefit of the training was featured in the Irish edition of The Sunday Times and feedback is constantly very good. To accommodate COVID-19 restrictions workshops are now delivered in an innovative online format. Bookings for our and other Local Enterprise hosted training can be made on their website.
Trade facilitation for policy makers
Trade Facilitation Consulting is often tasked with delivering bespoke training for senior policy makers within the subjects of trade facilitation, border management, supply chain management, transport and logistics, and customs.
The focus in delivery might be on specific technical issues or the wider policy context – including policy evaluation and research. Delivery formats range from short traditional class-room type settings to exstended interactive workshop-type environments. Often customised training is also provided to help assist teams with specific tasks.
